But I’m more inclined to believe that they hiked out, and ended up dying from exposure to the elements. What happened to Kate and Pal? Which of the endings do you think happened? I would like to believe that they hiked out, and eventually found help. What was your take on what happened to Tony and Yvette? Were they just weak, fake people? As soon as it was apparent that they had lost control, they hid themselves away, as their facades crumbled, not even seeking help when they literally started wasting away? ![]() ![]() What did Tony discover when he ventured down the road? What was in the hiking pack? Did he take it with him, intending to hike out to get help, or did he stumble upon a deceased hiker, and took the pack from the body? I was hoping to have a discussion with anyone else who has finished it. During his interview, he was asked what he hoped people got from his books and cage way he talked about using fiction as an education tool was quite inspiring. ![]() I just finished it, and I really enjoyed it. As I mentioned what intrigued me about Devolution was actually the way Max Brooks talked about it at the Del Rey Virtual Showcase. After seeing Max Brooks’ AMA on Devolution, I picked it up the first chance I could. ![]()
